Nga Uruora’s aims and objectives are:
- To bring Kapiti Island’s dawn chorus to the mainland.
- Create a virtually continuous ribbon of predator controlled coastal forest between Porirua and Waikanae to provide a safe habitat for birds flying over from Kapiti Island.
- Involve the community in conservation work and appreciation.
